NSCSC Introduction to Carpentry
Join the Nova Scotia Construction Sector Council’s Introduction to carpentry program. The 17-week program starts on April 29th and ends on August 23rd, 2024. It is open to residents of Nova Scotia who are Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents, and with a focus on those from equity-deserving groups (Indigenous Peoples, African Nova Scotians, Racially Visible Individuals, Persons with Disabilities, Newcomers, and Women).

Full school-year certificate program, working on developing skills in layout, fabrication and installation of sheet metal products and duct systems
Carpenter Millwright College: Drywall Steel Stud or Concrete Formwork Fundamental Training
A 5-week Fundamental training. These programs include fundamentals in many aspects of the Drywall/Steel Stud Framing or concrete formwork industry with many hands-on projects, a majority of time with practical building exercises.
