Sheet Metal Systems Program offered by NSCC

Develop skills in layout, fabrication and installation of sheet metal products and duct systems. The sheet metal trade requires an understanding of complex procedures in designing, building and connecting air handling systems and environmental controls. Explore key skills through courses in fabrication and installation techniques, air systems and their related components for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

What: Full school-year certificate program, working on developing skills in layout, fabrication and installation of sheet metal products and duct systems

Where: Akerley Campus, Dartmouth, NS (In-person)

When: September 5th, 2023 – April 17th, 2024. The students then complete a 5 week (typically unpaid) work experience and then they are ready to go work as a Level 1 Apprentice with 900 Hours

Cost: Tuition amounts for the 2023-24 academic year are listed below. Program costs and fees (textbooks, supplies, etc.) are additional.

Tuition (Domestic): $3,620

Tuition (International): $11,690
