MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Become a Mentor with Let’s Connect: Mentorship for Women Apprentices
Are you in the construction or manufacturing trades industry and want to support the next generation of women apprentices? Apply now to become a mentor with Let’s Connect Mentorship for Women Apprentices with NSAA.
Those who are interested can sign up until midnight on September 14th, 2025.
Program Details
The relationship will last for up to 6 months, with 4-6 meetings (as determined by each mentor/mentee pair).
The program will be administered in cohorts. If a potential mentor is not able to participate at this time but may be interested in the future, we invite them to complete the interest form.
On-demand mentorship training and tips on how to get the most out of the relationship will be provided.
It is flexible - participants choose when they meet and how to work together.
It is anticipated that most matches will be 1:1 unless participants express interest otherwise.
Accommodating preferences as best as possible when matching mentors and mentees.
Participants will be contacted from time to time to gain feedback.
The program is being administered by EnPoint on behalf of NSAA.
Upon completion of key milestones in the program, participants may be eligible to receive an honorarium to offset some costs of participation. Participation is voluntary.
Qualifications
Either a) a journeyperson with a Certificate of Qualification, b) in the final year of their apprenticeship, and/or c) have extensive experience working hands-on in the trade for a minimum of 5 – 6 years.
Excited to help someone else succeed in their trade and apprenticeship program, committed to personal growth and development, able to create a supportive, safe and inclusive experience for women in trades, open to sharing their journey, insights, resources, ideas, and their network with mentee(s).
