JOB OPPORTUNITY: Become An Accountant With An NSCSC Partner
An NSCSC industry partner is hiring for an accountant in the Sackville area.
Duties
The accountant will perform general ledger accounting tasks including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations. They will prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, prepare financial statements and monthly remittances, collaborate with other departments as required, and utilize accounting software such as Sage to manage financial data efficiently. They will assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, and provide support for corporate finance activities, including budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or certificate in accounting.
Proven experience working in accounting.
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using Sage accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
Familiarity with tax regulations and corporate financial concepts.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
