Become a Concrete Finisher with Techno Hard Surfaces Ltd

Nova Scotia Construction Sector Council, on the behalf of Techno Hard Surfaces Ltd, is hiring for a concrete finisher role. Construction experience is required to apply.

Concrete Finisher Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of concrete flat experience related to commercial and industrial floors

• Must be able to operate, walk behind and ride on power trowels to produce exceptionally flat and smooth concrete floors 

• Must have a valid driver’s license

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to do physical labour and other strenuous tasks such as push, pull, carry and lift

• Ability to work in all weather

• Be organized, with exceptional time management skills, and the ability to plan and multitask in order to meet deadlines

• Possess great customer service, and communication skills

• Enjoys working with a team and has a positive, constructive attitude

• Must be punctual and reliable 

Concrete Labourer Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to do physical labour and other strenuous tasks such as push, pull, carry, and lift

• Ability to work in all types of weather

• Workers must be punctual and reliable

• Must have experience as a general labourer in the construction industry

 General Workplace Conditions and Demands:

Required to adjust to many different working conditions including standing for long periods of time, climbing stairs and ladders, heavy lifting, confined spaces, loud noises and repetitive movements.

Hourly rate based on experience, majority of the work is located in the HRM.
