IDEAL Partners at the Atlantic Workplace Health and Safety Conference

Last week, IDEAL partners (YWCA Halifax Shift Change, Glooscap Ventures, CCWESTT, and the New Brunswick Mentor Apprentice Program) came together at the Atlantic Workplace Health and Safety Conference. On day 1, we spoke together with our partners on a panel about creating safe workplaces for Women and Gender Diverse People. We spoke with many at the exhibit booth we hosted during both days of the conference to share our programs and work. Key learning included understanding how very busy safety folks are and the challenge ahead to include people in the psychological safety work. Fortunately, the partners will continue to connect and support learning, training and change in this area.
