TRAINING OPPORTUNITY: NSCSC Introduction to Project Management and Estimating Program
Join the Nova Scotia Construction Sector Council’s Introduction to Project Management and Estimating Program. The 12-week, 14-person program, starting on October 15th and ending on January 30th, 2026, is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents living in Nova Scotia who hold a high school diploma or a GED.

What the Program Includes
- A hybrid program 
- Introduction to theory and principles of Construction Project management, Estimating, Blueprint Reading, - Law, Ethics, and Safety 
- Virtual c and hands-on activities 
- 2 weeks of monitored work placement with a local employer 
- 1-week job placement with a local construction employer 
Who Can Apply
- Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, and a resident of Nova Scotia. 
- have professional experience or post-secondary education applicable to the construction industry (this is not a beginner program). 
- Must have a high school diploma or GED 
- Applicants to this program may also qualify for financial support. Please discuss at the time of application.
