Join the Nova Scotia Construction Sector Council’s Introduction to Construction Craft Worker - Mason Tender Program. The 11-week, 14-person program, starting on April 20th, 2026 and ending on July 3rd, 2026, is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents living in Nova Scotia.

What the Program Includes
Introduction to the Construction Craft Worker - Mason Tender Program
Industry-related training (WHMIS OH&S, Etc).
Trades Math and Job Readiness Workshops
In class theory and hands-on training.
2 weeks of monitored work placement with a local employer.
Who Can Apply
Open to residents of Nova Scotia, with a focus on attracting individuals from equity-deserving groups including Indigenous Peoples, African Nova Scotians, Racially Visible Individuals, Persons with Disabilities, Newcomers, and Women.
Individuals must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and a resident of Nova Scotia.
