TRAINING OPPORTUNITY: NSCSC Introduction to Communication Technician
Join the Nova Scotia Construction Sector Council’s Introduction to Communication Technician. The 16-week, 10-person program, starting on January 12th, 2026 and ending on May 1st, 2026, is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents living in Nova Scotia.

What the Program Includes
Introduction to Communication Technician.
Industry-relevant safety training, such as WHMIS 2015, Respirator Care and Maintenance, and Fall Protection.
In class and hands-on training.
Math and job readiness training
3 weeks of monitored work placement with a local employer
Who Can Apply
Open to residents of Nova Scotia, with a focus on attracting individuals from equity-deserving groups including Indigenous Peoples, African Nova Scotians, Racially Visible Individuals, Persons with Disabilities, Newcomers, and Women.
Individuals must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and a resident of Nova Scotia.
