TRAINING OPPORTUNITY: NSCSC Introduction to Communication Technician

Join the Nova Scotia Construction Sector Council’s Introduction to Communication Technician. The 16-week, 10-person program, starting on January 12th, 2026 and ending on May 1st, 2026, is open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents living in Nova Scotia.

What the Program Includes

  • Introduction to Communication Technician.

  • Industry-relevant safety training, such as WHMIS 2015, Respirator Care and Maintenance, and Fall Protection.

  • In class and hands-on training.

  • Math and job readiness training

  • 3 weeks of monitored work placement with a local employer

Who Can Apply

  • Open to residents of Nova Scotia, with a focus on attracting individuals from equity-deserving groups including Indigenous Peoples, African Nova Scotians, Racially Visible Individuals, Persons with Disabilities, Newcomers, and Women.

  • Individuals must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and a resident of Nova Scotia.
