NSCSC Introduction to Project Management and Estimating Program
Join the Nova Scotia Construction Sector Council’s introduction to Project Management and Estimating program. The 12-week program, starting on June 3rd and ending on August 23rd, is open to all Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents who have a high school diploma or a GED from a Canadian educational institution.
What the Program Includes
A hybrid approach to Project Management Instruction blending online and instructor-led classroom learning.
Introduction to theory and principles of Construction Project Management, Estimating, Blueprint Reading, Law, Ethics, and Safety.
Virtual class lectures, hands-on practical activities, and independent learning via online training courses.
1 Week Employment Coaching.
1 Week job placement with a local construction employer.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and a
resident of Nova Scotia.
Additional prerequisites for this program include a High School Diploma
or GED from a Canadian educational institution.
Applicants to this program may also qualify for financial support. Please
discuss at the time of application.
Applicants must have professional or post-secondary education in the construction industry.

Location
80% will be virtual/self-directed study and 20% is training that will take place at the Nova Scotia Construction Sector Council (10 Ragged Lake Boulevard, Unit 1, Halifax, NovaScotia, B3S1C2)
