Read YWCA Shift Change’s Queers in Carhartts Report

In April 2026, Shift Change released the Queers in Carhartts: 2SLGBTQIA+ Lived Experiences of Skilled Trades in Nova Scotia Report, a much-needed insight into what those who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ experience in the province’s skilled trades industry.

The report is part of the bigger Queers in Carhartts project, which explores these experiences through the report, storytelling and art.
