Introducing Audra McCreesh as the New WiSTAN Facilitator

Audra McCreesh (CPHR) is a Senior HR Consultant, DEI strategist, and workforce development expert with over 15 years of experience driving systemic change in male-dominated industries. As the WiSTAN Facilitator for YWCA Halifax's Shift Change Project, Audra leads the design, facilitation, and reporting of the Women in Skilled Trades Agency Network (WiSTAN) meetings. In this role, she fosters cross-sector collaboration, amplifies the voices of women and gender-diverse individuals in skilled trades, and ensures that participants play a central role in shaping equitable workforce strategies.
Audra’s extensive experience includes HR program development, inclusive leadership training, and psychological safety assessments. She has worked with major organizations, across 2 continents and several industries including heavy manufacturing, where she played a pivotal role in DEI strategy, employee engagement, and talent development. During her time in Shipbuilding, she co-led the Pathways to Shipbuilding program at Irving Shipbuilding, championed male allyship in trades, and facilitated workplace transitions for 2SLGBTQ+ employees.
As the Founder & Senior Consultant of HR & I.D.E.A. Hub, Audra provides fractional and dedicated HR services. Her work includes HR policy development, DEI education, workforce planning, and formal proposal writing.
A certified Prosci Change Management Practitioner and an advocate for equity-driven workforce solutions, Audra is committed to creating workplaces where all individuals feel a sense of belonging, empowerment, and opportunity.
