Construction Safety and Merit Nova Scotia Launch Anchor Point

In response to the findings of their Creating Mentally Healthy Workplaces study, Construction Safety, in partnership with Merit Nova Scotia, is launching Anchor Point, a Member Assistance Program (MAP) to give construction workers who lack employer-sponsored support programs the mental health support they need. This program launches on September 26th, 2025.

What is Anchor Point?

Anchor Point will provide free mental health and wellness support through GreenShield+. Participants will receive:

  • 3 hours of counselling

  • 3 hours of couples therapy

  • Legal and financial consultations

  • 3 hours of each transition services ( with nurses, dieticians, and career coaches)
