Duty to Cooperate: Accommodation Tips and Best Practices

The Workers’ Compensation Board of Nova Scotia wants to hear from industry stakeholders about the provincial government’s amendments to the Workers' Compensation Act, and how it affects workers and employers across the province.

In the fall of 2024, the provincial government proposed the Stronger Workplaces for Nova Scotia Act, which included the proposed Return to Work and Duty to Cooperate Draft Policy.

WCB Nova Scotia is holding consultations across the province to better understand how this policy will affect those in the trades industry across the province.

On April 24th, join WCB Nova Scotia’s virtual information session to explore more about their involvement with the upcoming legislation and how it affects employers and employees.
