Construction Safety: Getting Started with Anchor Point: Member Assistance Program for Mental Health and Wellness

Join Construction Safety on Wednesday, October 29, at 12:00 PM for a 30-minute orientation session on Anchor Point, the new Member Assistance Program from Construction Safety Nova Scotia and Merit Nova Scotia, delivered through GreenShield+.  

This free, confidential, and accessible program is designed to support the mental health and overall well-being of construction workers and their families, especially those without employer-sponsored plans. 

The session will be led by Linda MacInnis, Account Manager at GreenShield, who will walk you through how to access personalized care through the MAP platform, including: 

  • Counselling: 3 hours of individual and 3 hours of couples therapy 

  • Legal & Financial Support: Unlimited consultations 

  • Work, Health & Life Services: Support from nurses, dieticians, and career coaches
